North Carolina FC Youth (NCFC) is pleased to host the Capital City Classic. The tournament is open to U9 - U19 boys and girls teams and is a great fall tournament for Classic and Challenge teams. Last year, more than 260 teams participated in the tournament, and we expect the same, if not more, amount of teams to compete this Fall.    Date Saturday, October 12 - Sunday, October 13, 2024   Location Raleigh, North Carolina and surrounding areas. A majority of the games will be played at NCFC's 21-field WRAL Soccer Park.    Eligible Teams U9 - U19 Boys & Girls Classic, Challenge and Recreation teams   Format 3 game group play followed by a championship match.  Finalists and Champions receive individual medals and team trophies. Some age groups may need to be combined depending upon registration numbers.   Application Process and Deadlines Interested teams must register and pay by September 20, 2024 in order to be accepted into the tournament. Once a team registers and payment is received, we will notify the team of acceptance via email.   Price U9 - U10 teams | $495 U11 7v7 teams | $495 U11 - U12 teams | $645 U13 - U14 teams | $715 U15 - U19 teams | $755 Teams must pay their team fee by September 20, 2024 in order to be accepted to play.    Stay to Play Policy All teams are required to "Stay to Play" , which means teams must stay in a Team Travel Source (NCFC's travel partner) hotel on Saturday night. Stay to Play allows teams to receive the best available hotel benefits and ensures all teams receive the protections NCFC and travel partner Team Travel Source have established with the hotels.
